First Aid Kiss

Transforming a five-story commercial building left mostly unused for over 40 years except for its first floor into a vibrant mixed-use space was no small task. What was once an abandoned structure is now home to a pharmacy, beauty boutique, coffee shop, and bar, all open to the public.

The goal of this renovation was to reimagine the typical pharmacy experience. We wanted to shift away from its often clinical, uninviting feel and instead create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and everyday welcome where anyone feels free to walk in, linger, and return.

By honoring the building’s past and embracing its story, we incorporated design elements inspired by the visual language of pharmacy symbols like "+", "()", and "o" to shape the identity of the space in subtle yet meaningful ways.

We call it “First Aid Kiss”—a space where pharmacy becomes part of everyday life for everyone.
